Neon64 Custom Platforms Custom platforms

Your business runs on spreadsheets and six logins. Let's build it one platform.

Neon64 designs and builds custom software for companies: the client portal, the back office, the lead engine, the dashboard, and the website in front of all of it. One team, one build, and the code is yours when we are done.

[ What we build ]

Platforms for the work behind the counter. Websites for the work in front of it.

Most companies need both and buy them from two vendors who never talk. Neon64 builds the site your customers see and the system your team runs on as one product, so a form on the website lands as a record in the back office instead of an email someone has to retype.

Platform

Client portals

Customers sign in, see their status, upload documents and sign, without calling to ask.

Platform

Back offices

The internal tool your staff actually lives in: records, tasks, approvals and history in one place.

Platform

Lead engines and CRMs

Every inquiry captured, routed to a person and followed up, with the source attached.

Platform

Quote and pricing engines

Your pricing rules turned into a calculator that gives the same answer every time.

Platform

Dashboards and reporting

The numbers you check every Monday, on one page, from the systems that hold them.

Platform

Booking and scheduling

Appointments, concierge requests and capacity, synced to the calendars you already use.

Website

Company websites

Fast, findable sites written to be quoted by search engines and AI answers, wired to the platform behind them.

Both

Integrations and AI workflows

Connections to the tools you keep, and AI where it removes a step a person repeats every day.

[ How a build runs ]

Four stages. Each one ends with something you can click.

Custom software goes wrong when the first thing a client sees is the finished product. Every Neon64 stage ends with a link, so you are steering from week one and nothing arrives as a surprise.

1

Blueprint

One to two weeks

We sit with the people who do the work and map how it moves today: every spreadsheet, inbox and handoff.

You get the build sheet: screens, data, integrations, timeline and a fixed price.
2

Prototype

Clickable, not finished

The main screens, on a real link, with your real terms in them. Cheap to change, so this is where we change things.

Your team tries it on their own phones and tells us what is wrong.
3

Build

Weekly demos

Production code, a real database, sign-in and permissions. A new demo every week on the same link.

You can see progress any day without asking for a status update.
4

Launch and run

Live on your domain

Data moved over, staff trained, the website and platform switched on together.

We stay on for fixes and new features, or hand the keys to your own team.

The test of a custom platform is simple. A year later, does your team still open it every morning?

[ Why custom ]

Off the shelf fits everyone a little. Custom fits you exactly.

Subscription software is the right call until your process stops matching its screens. After that you pay per seat for features you work around. These are the trade-offs we walk through on the first call, including when we will tell you to keep what you have.

Rented software

  • Per-seat pricing that grows every time you hire.
  • Your process bent to fit someone else's screens.
  • Data in their database, exported on their terms.
  • Five tools that do not talk to each other, glued with copy and paste.

A Neon64 platform

  • A build price, then hosting at cost. No seat count.
  • Screens shaped around how your team already works.
  • Your database, in your account, from day one.
  • One system from the website form to the finished job.
Under the hood

Built on boring, proven tools.

We pick technology any good developer can pick up after us, so you are never locked to Neon64. The same stack runs the website and the platform, which keeps hosting simple and changes cheap.

Where a build's time goesTypical
Blueprint~15%
Prototype~20%
Build~50%
Launch~15%
A third of the time is spent before production code. That is where the money is saved.
[ What you keep ]

When the build ends, everything is in your name.

Code
repository in your account

Full source, history included. Hire anyone to work on it, or keep us on.

Data
database in your account

Your customers and records never sit in a vendor's system you cannot reach.

Domain
hosting in your account

Your domain, your hosting bill, at cost. We are added as a user, not the owner.

[ What we do not sell you ]

Things you will never see on an invoice.

Some of the most common line items in this business exist to keep the client dependent. Neon64 does not charge for any of these.

X-1 Not here

A template called custom

If a theme would do the job, we will say so and point you to one.

X-2 Not here

Hosting markups

Your hosting bill comes from the host, at their price, in your name.

X-3 Not here

Per-seat licences

Add staff without adding cost. You own the software.

X-4 Not here

Ransom handovers

No fee to get your own code, data or domain back. They were always yours.

X-5 Not here

Features nobody asked for

Everything on the build sheet traces back to a problem you named.

X-6 Not here

Surprise change orders

Changes are priced before they are built, and the Prototype stage is where most of them happen for free.

X-7 Not here

Proprietary frameworks

Standard, open tools only, so the next developer does not start from zero.

X-8 Not here

Black-box AI

Where AI is used, you can see what it did and a person can override it.

[ Packages ]

Three ways in. A fixed price on each.

Every engagement starts with a Blueprint, priced on its own, so you know exactly what the build will cost before you commit to it. Keep the build sheet either way.

Site
company website

A fast, findable website with your forms wired to email or your CRM. The right start if the platform comes later.

Platform
website and system together

The full build: portal, back office or engine, plus the site in front of it, launched on the same day.

Run
monthly care

Fixes, updates and new features on a monthly plan after launch, with a demo link for every change.

Prices are quoted per build after the Blueprint · the Blueprint fee is credited to the build if you go ahead
